Spring blossoms cover the wild-cherry tree just outside the
Sitting/Dining Room bay-window ~ a happy sign there will be
an abundant feast for songbirds and black squirrels that love to
devour the bright scarlet fruit in late autumn and early winter.

This is also the hillside the resident flock of wild turkeys often
climbs at dusk to roost in trees.

Deer, on sunny days, will lay down and rest here ‘til early
evening.

Last spring we watched a Bobcat come down this hill within
forty feet of the house. He was majestic as he silently strolled
past the flower garden and continued down the hill below the
house.

West view from 2nd floor deck just outside Main Kitchen in mid-summer. It often feels like you could walk over the green sea of treetops all the way to the lakes.
